Open Sew Thursdays 🧵

Sometimes you just need to get out of the house, spread out your project, and spend the day with people who understand why you absolutely needed that fabric. 😂

Open Sew happens every Thursday at Nuts & Bolts Fabric from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. Bring whatever project you’re working on and make yourself at home! Sew, quilt, piece, bind, share ideas, get inspired—or just come sit and visit with us. ❤️

And yes, sometimes the ladies who come to Open Sew don’t sew a single stitch. They just pull up a chair, visit, laugh, and enjoy being together—and we think that’s pretty wonderful too. ❤️

There’s no formal instruction, no particular project you need to work on, and certainly no productivity requirement. Come for an hour or make a whole day of it.

Around lunchtime, we put the sewing aside for a bit and gather around the table together to eat, visit, and laugh. Bring lunch from home or grab a bite from one of the delicious restaurants here in town. What you eat isn’t particularly important—the point is pulling up a chair and sharing the table together.

And because we firmly believe a good sewing day should include something sweet, there will always be dessert. 😂
